SANTA CECILIA - Planeta 2017 -  Sicily, Italy

Made from old vine Nero D’avola grapes, this stunning red from Planeta winery is a force to be reckoned with. The nose shows pomegranate and liquorice, as well as strawberry and black cherry notes. The texture on the palate is elegant yet rich with ripe blackberry, orange peel, and droplets of balsamic.

BAROLO DI SERRALUNGA D'ALBA DOCG - Fontanafredda 2014 – Piedmont, Italy

In the heart of Piedmont’s UNESCO-designated hills of the Langhe region, lies the beautiful and award-winning Fontanafredda estate. This full-bodied yet velvety Barolo has a heady aroma of vanilla, dried roses & woodland undergrowth

CARTOIXA - Scala Dei 2016 – Priorat, Spain

A very deep, dense, violet-tinted morello cherry red. Intense aromas of violet-inflected

ripe black plum fruit intermingles with distinct mineral character from the licorella slate terroir which give it distinct Priorat typicity. Ageing in barrels gives it spicy vanilla, pepper and toasted notes.

MARGAUX - CHÂTEAU DESMIRAIL 2014  - Bordeaux, France

3ème Cru Classé. Chateau Desmirail has an outstanding terroir bordering the Route des Chateaux. Jean Desmirail gave his name to the Chateau after marrying an heiress from the Rausan family in the late 17th century. The current owner and manager, Denis Lurton, took over from his father Lucien in 1992. A well balanced wine, with spicy notes, good length, not too powerful and charming.
